One of the simplest ways to market your services, products, and services is to get face-to-face with your potential customers. I know this to be true because I’ve been to countless parties, events, and marketing conferences where I was able to meet new people and build relationships with them.

I know that sounds cheesy, but it is an important skill. I think this is one of the reasons people don’t always think of themselves as marketers. I actually think it’s a good rule of thumb that, when it comes to the majority population, you don’t ever call yourself a marketing expert.
