The definition is defined by the number of lock types a locksmith deals in and how long they have been in practice. To me, a locksmith is someone who works on more than one lock, and who has a passion for it.
For example, there are different lock types that locksmiths are specialized in.
I don’t know, but I think I’d rather have a locksmith who’s passionate about it.
I think that the definition of locksmith is so vague that it has become an industry and quite literally a profession. So, if someone wants to be a locksmith, they need to be a pretty darn good one. They need to be the best out there. Otherwise, someone like me will be a locksmith.
The locksmith job has grown into a huge industry in a lot of places. And it is not just in the US. People all over the world have their own lock types they specialize in, plus they work on them. Some of these people are called locksmiths, but they are not locksmiths. They are just people who specialize in one of the many locks.
The industry itself is a multi-billion dollar industry. I could go on and on about this. But the point is that people who do the locksmith work are more than just the people who do the locks. They are the people who are most associated with that lock, and that lock is the lock you’re most likely to want to own.
