I am so excited to introduce a new section of my blog. I am currently a part of the Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) (Online volunteers are welcome), and know that library employees are very helpful in solving simple problems on their computers. So this time I will be adding a section on my photography experience with the BPL, sharing pictures I have taken there, and links to books or resources related to the subjects.

A big thank you to the internet for making us all realize how much of our lives we miss when we don’t take the time to take pictures of our lives. It’s a shame that there are so many people out there who can’t seem to get a single picture of their life without embarrassing them, so thank you for that. So what can we do about it? I’m not sure we can change the world anymore but I’m going to start being more aware of it and hopefully this will help other people out there.

On the 11th anniversary of his first book, The Camera, I sat down with the photographer Susana Sontag to talk about her book, The Life of a Photograph. She revealed that the idea behind her book was that she wanted to include in her photography the “crazy personalities” of those around us. Her approach was to take photographs of people who didn’t seem like they were being photographed. And by “people who weren’t usually photographed” she meant accidents and tragedies in our everyday lives.

sarah sontag’s photography festival is introducing new entries to the curriculum every year. The upcoming entries will be based on the work of a photographer, so to speak. Their films are based on the work of hundreds of photographers in over a dozen countries. If you want to learn about their films or learn more about their work, there will be plenty of panels and lectures at our annual graduation ceremony.

This article is about the photo that I took in the middle of the night while I was doing my morning workout. I’ve been a bit of a hobby photographer for the past two years after taking photographs of my family and friends at home and on Flickr. One day on a walk with my mom, I decided to take a photo of my handbag in just enough light to show how much brights there is with every step.

This blog will be about my love for photography and how it often changes and changes in a moment. I have always loved photographs, and always wanted to formally pursue my photography career. Thank you for reading and sharing the link! If you are looking for a guide on how to photograph people in some of the most intimate or interesting moments in your life, look no further than this blog. I’m starting off shooting photos with dogs, so there’s some serious paper in this one. The posts will be categorized by that category as well.

When you are making a photo, the only thing you have to worry about is the sun coming right through your lens and blinding you. But, with this new Nikon D3100 camera, you will be able to take photos that could easily get lost in the blur of the shutter because all that is needed is a little bit of light. Most people think being able to capture a photo with one lens is like going from one end of town to another but I had never even seen a street before taking this photograph. Now if I was trying to shoot from above or below, I would just have to call up my friend for help.
